Miguel Zenón - Yo Soy La Tradición (Teaser)

Miguel Zenon received his 2018 JJA Jazz Award as Alto Saxophonist of the Year on Friday, 21 at Segundo Ruiz Belvis Cultural Center, where he and the Spektral Quartet performed works from new album "Yo Soy la Tradición" to raise funds for Puerto Rican hurricane relief. Neil Tesser, broadcaster/writer/JJA board member presented, saying "The concert was terrific, and the audience was enthusiastic about Miguel receiving the award; he himself was quite appreciative. The location, which I'd never visited, is a quite suitable performance space, set up with banquet tables for an audience of (estimated) 100-125."
